The new management of Prague 11 does not agree with the development on the meadow near the Opatovská polyclinic
Between the Billa supermarket and the Opatovská polyclinic, a private investor has planned the construction of the Opatov Polyfunctional Complex, the so-called Sky Opatov. The management of Prague 11 used the possibility of submitting objections, coming through to express their disagreement with the proposed form of the project. The eleventh city district informs about it on the website Praha11.cz.
The project consists of two buildings, the second of which practically consists of two buildings (4 and 9 floors). Along Opatovská street, a house with commercial use with three above-ground floors is to be built.
The second building, proposed closer to Jašíkova Street and the so-called cloud house, has four above-ground parts planned in one and nine floors in the other. A total of 75 new housing units are to be created in it.
The municipal council used the opportunity to submit objections, by expressing its disagreement with the proposed version of the project. The objections were delivered to the Department of Construction of the City of Prague 11.
In the objections, it is mentioned, among other things, that the location of the nine-storey building in this stabilized area is “completely at odds with the surrounding development”, furthermore, there is no assessment of part of the planned new construction and existing apartment buildings for daylighting, and inconsistencies in the solution of traffic at rest are pointed out.
“In this form, on the area between the Opatovská polyclinic and the so-called cloud house, it is completely unacceptable for local residents, as it would undoubtedly increase the quality of their housing and burden the surrounding area with other traffic. We will do everything we can to find the best possible solution for the residents of Jašíkova, V Jezírky and Křejpského streets,” said Deputy Mayor of Prague 11, Jan Jaroš (Prague 11 Sobě), expressing reservations about the project.
