THE PREMIERE OF THE WORLD CUP ON SAND

From February 3 to 5 on the beach of Le Touquet, no less than 2,700 pilots, French and international, will do battle during the Enduropale 2023 edition. An unmissable event in the region which is also launching the new Cup of the FIM Sand Racing World.

The highlight of the season on sand, the Enduropale du Touquet Pas-de-Calais 2023 also launches the new World Cup for the specialty, newly created by the international federation with the support of the French, Argentine and Portuguese federations. Outgoing winner and back from injury after a fall, Milko Potisek (Yamaha) will, as always, have a lot to do on Le Touquet beach in a race that includes many pitfalls and tough opponents, including Englishman Todd Kellett (Yamaha), current leader of the French championship in the discipline.

More than a motorcycle competition, the Enduropale du Touquet Pas-de-Calais has become over the years, since its creation in 1975 by a certain Thierry Sabine, also founder of Paris-Dakar, a real party. For 3 days, the seaside resort of the Côte d’Opale will thus live to the rhythm of enduro with an enticing programme. Small novelty of this 2023 edition, the modification of the programming since the flagship race switches to Saturday afternoon between 2:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m., and this for questions of the tide times. Another novelty, the vintage convoy will also be back with the creation of a closed park at the Covered Market. It will also be the great return of Quads to Le Touquet. Not to mention the emphasis placed, again this year, on sustainable development.
