Another platform was opened in Radotín. Traffic will be limited until mid-February
The Railway Administration has made progress with the modernization of the railway corridor between the Prague-Smíchov and Prague-Radotín stations. From Thursday, January 26, they can use two new platforms, the builders still have to finish the soffits for the roof and install electronic information boards. Activation of the station’s security equipment will take place in Radotín until February, which requires partial traffic restrictions.

In the reconstructed Praha-Radotín station, both subways were opened to the public at the end of last year. The first one is located at Na Betonce street, just like the second underpass also allows access to Vrážská street.
With the commissioning of two new platforms, the corresponding exits were also opened at the same time. “Passengers in Radotín can now use three platforms with a total of five boarding edges,” said Dušan Gavenda, a spokesman for the Railway Administration.
