After dizziness: Cologne’s Hector is “so far good” | free press
Cologne captain Jonas Hector has completed the regeneration program with the team one day after his expected substitution in the Bundesliga game at FC Schalke 04. The Australian German national soccer player is doing “so far well”, the FC announced.
Hector had been substituted at half-time the day before with suspected concussion. “He fell on his head, he got dizzy, he vomited a bit during the half-time break,” said Cologne coach Steffen Baumgart. He himself was absent from training due to back pain.
Striker newcomer Davie Selke was also substituted after the first half in the 0-0 draw in Gelsenkirchen. An MRI scan is scheduled for the 28-year-old on Monday. (dpa)
