Leading the way: Since Björn Naujokat (right, here in the game against Krefeld) has been head coach of the Hannover Indians, things have been going well. There was an overtime win in Herne on Sunday evening.

herne In the Ice Hockey Oberliga, the Hanover Indians won 4:3 (0:0, 3:1, 0:2) at Herner EV after overtime and thus celebrated their eleventh win in a row. Last Tuesday, the Indians had already won 6-1 in Herne – on Sunday evening it was closer.

After a goalless first third, Nicolas Turnwald (25′, 34′) scored twice to make it 2-0. Nils Liesegang’s goal (39′) answered Sebastian Christmann (40′) to make it 3-1. In the final third, Liesegang equalized the Indian lead with two goals (43rd, 60th). The guests from Hanover were not shocked, however, in extra time Turnwald scored the winning goal (61st).
Scorpions briefly caught off guard in the middle third
The Hannover Scorpions win 5:2 (1:0; 2:2, 2:0) at the Black Dragons Erfurt. Allan McPherson (3rd) gave the Scorpions the lead with a majority. In the middle third, the Thuringian team turned the game around – Anoldas Bosas (26th) and Reto Schüpping (32nd) made it 2-1 for Erfurt. But shortly afterwards Patrick Klöpper scored the 2:2 (35.) Alexander Heinrich put the guests back in front 14 seconds before the end of the middle period when he scored to make it 3:2. Erfurt could no longer answer. In the final third, the Scorpions struck again on the power play: Dennis Reimer (51st) made it 4:2. In the final phase, Erfurt’s keeper Konstantin Kessler left the ice in favor of an additional field player, Ralf Rinke scored into the empty goal to make it 5-2 (60th).
