Toulouse: Drunk, he flees the police, takes the highway in the opposite direction and ends up sobering up
The police officers of the anti-crime brigade succeeded, not without difficulty, in stopping a very determined driver early Saturday morning in Portet-sur-Garonne. To escape, this man even drove on the highway in the wrong direction.
A driver who was driving boulevard Eisenhower, Bellefontaine district, worried the police during the night from Friday to Saturday, in Toulouse. This individual was indeed traveling at very high speed and the police wanted to check him. Instead of slowing down, the man sped up again, forgetting a red light at the corner of the Seysses road and rushing towards the highway.
Is it to escape the police or because of his condition? In any case, this boy has taken the Toulouse-Muret-Saint-Gaudens motorway in the opposite direction! Fortunately, he drove a few hundred meters without causing an accident (it was 4 a.m.) before making another U-turn and heading towards Muret.
The driver refused the alcohol test
Finally, the police from the anti-crime brigade reached the stopper near Portet-sur-Garonne. Extracted from his vehicle, this 40-year-old man showed “obvious” signs of drunkenness. He refused to submit to the blood alcohol test and the control on his possible consumption of narcotics.
He was placed on sober. Saturday, once his excesses had been digested, he admitted his misconduct to the duty investigators.
He was presented to the prosecution this Sunday and will have to explain himself quickly to justice.
