This week-end sport rather smiled at the clubs of Toulouse and its periphery. Colomiers was played by Soyaux Angoulême (21-25), the Toulouse Basketball Club a dominated Challans (76-86), Blagnac tamed Bourg-en-Bresse (31-15), the Spacer returned to winning ways against Cambrai (3-1) and the Tefece a mastered Strasbourg (1-2).

Waiting for the meeting Toulouse stadium this Sunday evening, only the Basket Toulouse Metropolis, defeated by a short header on the floor of Flamme Carolo (74-70), did not taste victory. Report.

Colomiers narrowly wins at Soyaux Angoulême and climbs to 4e place

Colomiers it’s scary. Led to the score until the last seconds of the game, the Columérins finally managed to snatch victory on the lawn of Soyaux Angoulême (21-25), Friday January 27, as part of the 18e Pro D2 day. This victory allows Colomiers to steal the 4e place in Biarritz, beaten in Agen (27-17).

However, everything had started well for the Hauts-Garonne. After a long phase of domination by his team, Thomas Girard scored the first three units of the match (8e). This was followed by a goalscoring duel between the Columérin rear and Emmanuel Saubusse (6-6). But it was the locals, through Junior Ratuva, who found the fault first (34e). Too undisciplined, the proteges of Julien Sarraute even suffered a new defeat just before the break (14-6).

Upon returning from the locker room, the Doves fought back, scoring two tries in quick succession, signed Jorick Dastugue (64e) and Fabien Perrin (66e). Only, the Charentais had not said their last word. Through Gauthier Gibouin, the latter crossed the line a second time and regained control (73e). But that was without taking into account the burst of pride of the visitors who, after a long session of pounding, sealed the outcome of the match thanks to a try by Jean Thomas on the gong (80e).

The pass of three for the Toulouse Basket Club in Challans

What a finish! After being consulted for a long time on the bulletin board, the Toulouse Basketball Club was able to find the necessary resources to overcome Challans (76-86), Friday January 27, on behalf of the 22e day of National 1. Thanks to this success, the Toros are relaunching in the race for the top 5.

From the outset, the Vendeans imposed their rhythm. More hard-hitting and taking advantage of many air holes in the Toulouse defense, the locals were largely in the lead at half-time (48-34). But the second act completely tipped in favor of Stéphane Dao’s players. Completely overwhelmed, the Challandais saw their lead reduced to nothing at the end of the third quarter (59-60), the fault in particular of a sparkling Cédric André (6/6 shooting).

The last quarter was just the logical continuation of things. The Hauts-Garonnais drove the point home by making their address speak. Olivier Yao-Delon, disguised as a sniper (6/11 to 3 points), never allowed the Vendeans to maintain any hope of turning the tide.

Blagnac dominates Bourg-en-Bresse and consolidates its 5e place

What a blow from Blagnac ! At the end of a meeting which they dominated, the Caouecs won against Bourg-en-Bresse (31-15), Saturday January 28, on behalf of the 17e National day. This victory allows the Blagnacais to recognize their 5e rank.

However, the start of the match was not ideal for Blagnac. The Bressans, through Audric Sanlaville, flattened the first (13e). But, the Hauts-Garonne, much more dominant, also managed, via Mathieu Vachon less than five minutes later, to dive into the Indian goal. It was perhaps only long to be imitated by the young Corentin Penc Hoat just before half-time to turn in the lead at the break (18-10).

During the second act, the locals did not mince their embrace. Far from there. Not even a minute had passed on the scoreboard as Lukas Doyhenard dived behind the line. Until the end of the match, Antoine Renaud built the Blagnac success thanks to his boot, even though the hooker from Bourg-en-Bresse, Clément Jullien, revived the suspense by going there with his try (52e).

The Spacer’s rebel against Cambrai and move away from the red zone

How good this victory is for the spacer. Opposed to the red lantern, Cambrai, the Toulouse volleyball players put an end to a series of three defeats in a row by beating the Northerners (3-1), Saturday January 28, as part of the 18e Ligue A day. With this success, the Hauts-Garonnais climb to 11e up and move away from the relegation zone.

Somewhat jostled in the first set, the Toulousains still managed to win it (25-21). In the wake of the first set, the proteges of Patrick Duflos showed multiple inaccuracies which cost them the second (22-25). But, much more effective and notably brought by a Nikolay Kartev of the big nights, the Spacer’s fought back and won the next two (25-22, 25-23).

Toulouse Métropole Basket lost in the last moments on the floor of Flamme Carolo

The outcome is cruel for the Basket Toulouse Metropolis. While victory was reaching out to them, the Toulousaines fell in the final minutes on the floor of Flamme Carolo (74-70), Saturday January 28, as part of the 11e LFB day. CE 9e consecutive setback confines the Hauts-Garonnaises to the penultimate place in the championship.

Like previous matches, Xavier Noguera’s players were a little slow to get to the heart of the matter. Even if they were able, at times, to be clumsy in front of the circle, the latter only conceded two small units behind at the end of the first act (31-29).

The second was, unlike the first, totally unbridled. Guided by an Isabelle Strunc and a gala Noémie Brochant, the Toulousaines took off at the end of the third quarter (48-56). While a first success since 9 meetings took shape, the Pioneers completely took the water in the last quarter, conceding a scathing 26-14.

Téfécé dominates Strasbourg and temporarily joins the top 10

the Tefece continue its good momentum. At the end of a match where they held the right end for a large part of the time, the Violets won on the lawn of Strasbourg (1-2), Sunday January 29, on behalf of the 20e day of Ligue 1. Thanks to this victory, the protégés of Philippe Montanier temporarily climb into the top 10 while awaiting the result of Lyon in Ajaccio and Reims in Paris.

The start of the match was cruel for the Hauts-Garonne. While Branco van den Boomen should have opened the scoring, the match referee, Hakim Ben El Adj, canceled the goal for an offside position by Thijs Dallinga, who had touched the ball (19e). Almost immediately after, Kevin Gameiro unlocked the scoreboard in favor of the Alsatians (20e). But the Toulousans, thanks to a powerful half-volley from Thijs Dallinga, were quick to reset the counters to zero (25e).

The Dutch striker even saw double shortly after returning from the locker room. On a delicious cross from Rafael Ratao, Dallinga cut the trajectory of the leather to score with a stung header (51e) and permanently seal the partition.
