The commission in one of the precincts in Prague 8 made a mistake during the count in the second round of the presidential election. She switched votes for Petr Pavel and Andrej Babiš from ANO. Babiš won instead of Pavle, reported Deník N with reference to Prague 8 spokesman Martin Šalek. The error cannot be corrected at this time.

The error happened specifically in the precinct 8090, where people from the block of flats in Hlivicka street in Bohnice go to vote. According to official data, 317 people voted for the ANO chairman, 169 voted for the retired general. In the first round, Petr Pavel won by a significant margin.

“There was a calculation error,” confirmed the pro Diary of N Prague 8 spokesman Martin Šalek. “They calculated it correctly, but then attributed the result to another candidate,” he added.
Electoral commissions have 24 hours to correct, but Prague 8 caught the error too late. It can’t be fixed at this point. The only way to correct erroneous results is to file a petition with the Supreme Administrative Court. Anyone can do it, they have seven days to do it.
