of companies undertake to focus on priority neighborhoods
In the Avignon premises of the Mc Cormick company, Thursday January 26, the companies involved in the PAQTE, (pact with the districts for all the companies of Vaucluse), renewed, in the presence of the prefect of Vaucluse, Violaine Demaret, their membership. For five companies, it was their first signature.
This charter, aimed at matching the needs of the world of work and the candidates, as recalled by the prefect, takes up the four axes chosen to work for the inclusion and professional integration in favor of the inhabitants and the priority districts of ‘Avignon.
The system initiated by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion was launched in 2018. It continues to evolve and be enriched with actions in the territories.
By signing the charter, companies undertake to:
➤ Raising awareness, like the meetings between entrepreneurs and middle and high school students of the QPV organized on November 25th. Meetings which aim to make young people better understand the world of business and professions.
➤ Training, to facilitate access to apprenticeship, work-study, through support (organization of targeted job dating, among others).
➤ Recruit, to develop employment, using methods of recruitment without discrimination supporting inclusion.
➤ Buy responsibly and inclusively.
For the occasion, the association FACE 84 (Foundation to act against exclusion) referent for the PAQTE in Vaucluse, presented novelties, including the appointment of a leader of the business club, in the person of Jean-Michel Scuitto, from GSE.
Among the signatory companies, we find: Suez, Enedis, Colas, Chabas, GRDF, Mc Cormick, Manpower, Synergie, BNP, Castelain, le Coq noir, Start people, ECV Emballage, Cooprovence as well as the companies Cemex materials, Berto and Solev .
