Denmark: Newborn baby abducted from hospital
South Zealand and Lolland-Falster Police called for a dark blue van on Saturday evening, which according to the police must have been used in connection with the abduction of a newborn baby from Slagelse hospital.
The police have released a picture of the wanted car on Twitter.
According to the police, it was a man in his 60s who left the maternity ward at the hospital with the baby, wrapped in a duvet.
The police inform TV 2 Denmarkthat there is talk of a grandfather who has kidnapped his newborn grandson.
— It is a grandfather who drove with his newborn grandson from Slagese Hospital, shortly after he was born, says Bo Georg Petersen at the police Extra Magazine and continues:
— We fear for the child’s health because he has not been examined properly by the health staff. So the child should preferably return to the hospital as quickly as possible.
