Lukas Brosi becomes the new head of Zurich Airport
After a controlled evaluation and recruitment process, the largest Swiss airport has appointed the current chief financial officer as the new boss. This appointment ensures a seamless transition in leadership and continuity in strategic alignment. According to Zurich Airport, Lukas Brosi is convinced that Lukas Brosi will develop the company both strategically and culturally and lead it successfully through the entrepreneurial priorities and further challenges of the coming years.
Brosi knows the airport and the aviation industry very well. He joined the company in 2009 and has been CFO and member of the Executive Board at Zurich Airport since 2017. In his current function, he is involved in all strategic areas and can therefore continue them smoothly. In addition to finance, Brosi is responsible for ICT with digitization projects and the area of ​​sustainability and the environment. 44-year-old Lukas Brosi is a business economist from a Swiss university and lives with his family in the canton of Zurich.
The current boss, Stephan Widrig, will leave Zurich Airport at his own request to take on a new, external challenge. The handover to Brosi will take place at the end of April.
