Fatal accident in Upper Bavaria: smooth road, cause still unclear
The attacks that occurred were so serious that the man died at the scene of the accident. The federal highway 12 was completely blocked around the accident. There, too, the driver, a 20-year-old from the Schweinfurt district, left the road for reasons that are still unclear, the police report. He also collided with a tree, and here too only the death of the man could be determined.
Meanwhile, the German Weather Service continued to warn of slippery roads. The meteorologists emphasized that there could also be patches of ice in the night to Saturday with light frost due to light snowfall, freezing drizzle or freezing wetness. On Saturday, the sky should be cloudy across Bavaria, with temperatures around plus 4 to minus 2 degrees. Some snow may have fallen locally in the east and south of the Free State.
Tragic accident near Igling: First responders seriously injured
