San Marino. Anis Assembly, President Rossini: “more courage and determination in carrying out the reforms”
Great attendance at the ANIS Assembly, also attended by their Excellencies the Captains Regent.
It took place this morning, at the Kursaal Congress Center, the Assembly of the San Marino National Industry Associationwith a large participation of many entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of the institutions, politics and the economic and trade union parties.
The Association itself reports this, specifying that “in the first part, reserved for members, the point was taken on contractual renewals starting from the Consolidated Law on the Industry contract which will be the subject of an imminent referendum among workers to give it erga omnes effectiveness, and from that of the Insurance companies already subscribed at the end of the year. In the meantime, negotiations are underway for the building contract, now in the direction of arrival, and that of the Services, on which work is already in an advanced stage. Next, some of the most topical topics were discussed, starting with the latest interventions on pensions and work, as well as concerns about the rise in energy costs and the difficulties of the San Marino system in this area.
Precisely the need for a strategic plan on energy, which contains both tariff policies so that they are competitive with respect to the outside world and in particular to Italy, and the autonomous production of energy in the area, was together with Europe the central theme of the public intervention by the President Neni Rossiniwho spoke after having welcomed in the room, together with the applause of those present, their Excellencies the Captains Regent Maria Luisa Berti And Manuel Ciavattawho honored the Assembly with their presence.
After the initial greetings, the ANIS President addressed her heartfelt appeal to the audience to have “more courage and determination in pursuing the reforms that will serve to restore sustainability to the system and allow the real economy, the one we represent and which has guaranteed the country’s stability in the last few crises, to tap into all its extraordinary potential, because so much the industries have done, but they can still do a lot if put in the right conditions”. And one of these conditions is “a full integration into the European single market, for which a Association Agreement which, after eight years now, we will finally see materialize: we have had reassurances both on the timing and on this objective, so we expect the negotiation to proceed by increasing, more than what has been done so far, the involvement of all the social partners and citizens in this which is an epochal choice for all of San Marino”.
Many, therefore, the expectations of ANIS, to which the Secretary of State for Finance, Marco Gatti, a guest of the Assembly representing the Government, wanted to respond in his speech: from sharing the need to have an energy plan, including investments, up to the immediate reduction of tariffs if, as is happening, the price of raw material is less than what the AASS requires of users. The same sharing that Gatti reiterated on European integration, just as he confirmed that the VAT construction site will be opened, also to achieve a simplification of interchange, to complete the revision of the IGR which is now imminent.
This was followed by the qualified interventions of the two guests of the Assembly to offer a vision of how the international economic context is preparing for the future and what are the choices that companies and governments are already committing today: Carlo Cici (The European House-Ambrosetti ), who illustrated the ongoing dynamics, at an international and above all financial level, on the issue of sustainability; Massimo Fabio (KPMG), who explored the theme of the “trusted trader”, or the certified operator, a globally widespread tool for recognizing important advantages in import/export to companies according to certain criteria.
