“Putin’s regime is a colossus with feet of clay, but it remains a colossus,” said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on French television LCI on Thursday. However, he stressed that the West “should be more resilient”, nourishing Ukraine.
“Russia has jurisdiction over Ukraine, so it helps to protect the dignity of freedom, to protect the legal value,” Morawiecki said.
The West should be “definitely more courageous. Do not be afraid of a special anti-missile and anti-aircraft defense system throughout its territory, and not only in the west,” said the prime minister.
“If a decision to provide them (the Ukrainians) with combat troops is considered, Poland will vote +for+, but of course it can only mean that it is taken by the entire NATO,” said the head of the government.
“Nearly 15 NATO countries have Leopard tanks, about 12 should be in the actual state (Ukraine) as it looks (machines). Morawiecki.
“We have already delivered 250 Ukrainian tanks. In addition, in the near future Poland will send 60 basic, modern tanks (…), we will also deliver 14 Leopards. So in total we will hand over over 300 tanks to the Ukrainians,” explained the Prime Minister.
Unfortunately, Russian propaganda is very efficient (…). She tries to help Westerners to leave Ukraine to her fate and they did not come to her aid. It’s not acceptable, we can’t replace fear.”
He also assessed that “France influenced Russian propaganda too much, but this is changing in the face of the brutality of this barbaric war.”
The delivery of tanks by Germany “is a very important decision for Ukraine and for (…) from the beginning of the war I have been asking Europe for Germany’s support. (…) Make modern tanks for Ukraine, this is real solid evidence, I am very grateful to the German government,” added the Polish prime minister. (MUSH)
