“For a few days there has been a fake market news about Napoli”
Paolo Bargiggia reveals the truth: Napoli’s interest in Josip Brekalo is only a “half fake news of the transfer market”.
The football market has always been a place where rumors spread quickly and where news is often not true. There are many reasons for this, from agent misdirections to simple attempts by some companies to manipulate deals for their own ends.
In the case of Napoli, there have been many rumors regarding possible signings or disposals during the January transfer window, but not all of them are confirmed. One of the most recent cases concerns the possibility that Josip Brekalo wore the blue shirt, but second Paul Bargiggiajournalist and sports commentator and expert on the transfer market, this hypothesis is only a “half fake news”.
In the last few hours there had been talk of a possible Napoli’s interest in the Croatian footballer Josip Brekalocontract expiring in June with the Wolfsburg. Bargiggia explained that Fiorentina closed the purchase of Brekalo for a couple of days for 2 million euros and that Nico Gonzalez will still be sold to Leicester in the summer unless there are sensational raises. Furthermore, Napoli’s interest in Brekalo was just a made-up story.
“Fiorentina closed for Brekalo from a couple of days to 2 million. Nico Gonzalez will still be sold to Leicester in the summer unless there are sensational raises. Napoli’s interest in Brekalo was half fake news…”. Bargiggia explained.
Pedullà confirms: “Brekalo at Napoli, it was a misdirection”
Even the market expert Alfredo Pedulla, through his official website, revealed the truth on the matter: “The hypothetical offer from Napoli was just a simple misdirection,” he declared. Pedullà further added that, despite Napoli’s interest in Brekalo’s profile, there is currently no intention to change the roster of the team that he is currently flying. Instead, Fiorentina has come out into the open and is now working to close the deal.
