Drugs, drug dealing network sting in Pisa, 18 suspects – Tuscany


In 4 years sold 20,000 doses of coke and heroin to 250 customers a day


(ANSA) – PONTEDERA, JAN 26 – Nine months of investigation and 18 drug dealers under investigation, mostly foreigners, who allegedly sold 12,000 doses of cocaine between 2018 and 2022, for a total value of around 750,000 euros, and another 7,000 doses of heroin for about 600,000 euros, to which must be added over 300 doses of hashish and marijuana and a dozen methadone. These are the numbers of the “Black Mamba” operation, coordinated by the Pisa prosecutor’s office and conducted by the carabinieri of the Pontedera operational and mobile radio unit.

During the investigation, about 29,000 conversations were intercepted, mostly in Arabic, which made it possible to dismantle a dense drug dealing network that supplied between 200 and 250 customers a day in the province of Pisa. Much of the criminal activity took place in the city’s downtown and suburbs.
