From www.csvnet.it

25 years is the right age to look back, reflect on the progress made and start afresh with a new look at the challenges to be faced in the future.

This is the spirit of the journey made in the last year and a half since csvnetthe national association that establishes the 49 Volunteer Service Centers (Csv) active in Italy since 1997, with the aim of rereading the profound changes of the present – the obligations related to the reform of the third sector, the new social needs born from the emergencies of recent years – and build a new common vision to relaunch the function of the CSVs as agents for the development of volunteering in the territories.

“It is the point of arrival, and restart, – explains the president of CSVnet, Chiara Tommasini – a year and a half of meetings, in-depth sessions and cultural workshops which involved over a thousand people, including members of governance and most of the 800 employees and thousands of volunteers who every daythanks to the contribution of foundations of banking origin, they support 50,000 organizations that in every region, among the many actions, help the most fragile people, protect their rights, promote the culture of solidarity in schools, among young people”.

The outcome of this participation process was the collective writing of a manifesto of intent that will be presented Friday 27 and Saturday 28 Januaryat the Innovation Center in Florence.

The initiative, entitled “Doing well together. Consolidate and evolve. Places to talk about vision: Csv meeting”, organized in collaboration with Cesvot and with the support of Credit Agricole Italy and Innovation Center Fondazione CR Firenze, will be an opportunity to reflect together with over 200 participants from all over Italy – delegates of the CSV, of the main national networks of the third sector and of the banking foundations – on the vision document which is the result of the listening and elaboration process made in these months.

The program will start Friday 27 January at 2.00 pm, with the institutional greetings of the councilor for the municipality of Florence, Sarah FunaroOf Luigi Paccosipresident of Cesvot and of Carmine Paolantoniohead of the Growth Service of Crédit Agricole Italia.
Following the intervention of the presidency of CSVnet Chiara Tommasiniwhich will introduce the four workshops dedicated to some of the strategic themes that animate the manifesto.

The first”Organizational development and capacity building” is dedicated to how to accompany associations in the processes of change to design new interventions and be closer to citizens. Will be attended by Carlo Andorliniat the University of Florence and expert in social innovation and service design, as well as Massimo Giustigeneral secretary of the Onc Foundation – national control body of the CSV -, to the director of the CSV Cosenza Mariacarla Coscarella and the moderation of the director of Csv Imperia Savona, Anna Maria Camposeragna.
