External access blocked during the investigation
In response to this cyberattack, the Ramsay Health group immediately trigger a safety procedure to “protect patients, employees and partners”. This measure is translated by the closure of exterior access.

However, investigations, in collaboration with state services, are still ongoing. For the time being, access to the Ramsay Health network from the outside therefore remains closed. “Patient care may have been slowed down due to the cut off of external access and the temporary shutdown of certain computer servers”, indicates the group. And to add: “the traceability of the care and the prescriptions are carried out in paper format, as provided for by the procedure in degraded mode of the computer security plan”. This situation could last several hours.
