The 32-year-old winger was already happy with the goal in the first period. But he clearly kicked the puck into the goal with his skates. “Goal for me,” Forman joked after the game. “I was hoping the movement wouldn’t show. Reflex. I’m a good football player, so I tried,” he continued, grinning from ear to ear.

On the ice, he still believed that the hit could be valid. “When I came to the substitution, I told the boys that there was a fifty-fifty chance. And then when they saw the situation on the dice, they really laughed at me,” described the native of Kralup nad Vltavou.

In the middle part, however, he recorded an assist on Michal Řepík’s power play goal and received the round number of Canadian points. And he will receive a hefty contribution to the coffers for it. “I charge three thousand crowns to my teammates, so I won’t avoid it either. The boys immediately dug into me, they were the happiest,” he grinned.

Sparta steps under Miloslav Hořava. She won 18 out of 20 extra league matches. “Great ride. We also enjoy the audience. Hard work but great reward. Winning is addictive, we’re hungry,” Forman described.

“No one in the Czech Republic does it as well as we do. I’m glad that I can be a part of such a project,” enjoyed Řepík. “Excellent idea, excellent event,” added Forman.
