It seems that the competent school district wanted to reassure parents with an easily debunked lie that everything is fine at the Jaschik Álmos Art High School – RTL Híradó reveals from his Wednesday evening report.

The background to the case is that shocking photos were taken in the institution a few weeks ago, of the crumbling plaster and the roof, which has been in poor condition for years. Several parents talk about how dangerous it is to teach children in a building in such bad condition. In a letter sent to parents and the channel’s editors, the school district wrote that, in their opinion, manipulated news is spreading on social media, creating the impression that students have to study in dangerous conditions at the institution.

They added that the third floor of the building was closed for safety reasons from December 1 until the end of the construction work. One parent, who requested anonymity, said the school district was not telling the truth because he believed only part of the floor was locked.

The channel reached out to the school district and the school’s principal to find out what they had to say about the parents’ claim, but did not receive a response by the time of the broadcast.
