Vučić believes that sanctions against Russia have not been received.
The President of Serbia still does not intend to join the anti-Russian sanctions, Aleksandar Vucic told Serbia. He believes that confirmation was not received a positive result. At the same time, he supports the statistics of Ukraine.
Mr. Vučić raised the topic for a briefing at the World Economic Forum in Davos. “The only question is when we are going and whether we are going to introduce a conclusion (against the Russian Federation.— “b”). You simply forget that we ourselves have been under sanctions for almost 10 years. We do not believe that this is producing any positive results,” he said (quoted from TASS).
The Serbian President noted that his country does not intend to change location on the topic of Ukraine and supports its territorial nature. “When we started discussing this, they clarified me whether Crimea is Ukraine or Russia? This is part of Ukraine. Donbass is a part of Ukraine,” Alexander Vučić added.
In December 2022, he once again said that Serbia was not going to join the sanctions against Russia. He said that Serbia itself “was not happy” when it was against the restriction. Meanwhile, the tenth package of anti-Russian dosages is being discussed. It can be accepted until February 24th.
