“What do you think of the association agreement with the EU?”, Conversely the results of the survey
“The European Way” is the title oflatest episode of “Vice versa” focused on the continuation of the road that will lead San Marino towards the association agreement with the European Union. The results were presented last night poll launched on our website.
“As a citizen, what do you think of the Association Agreement with the EU?” was the first question asked. Almost 300 responses, numbers therefore not significant as representative of the total number of San Marino citizens. The 35% of the voters it was said “absolutely agree, because it will bring benefits on several fronts”; another 30% he agreed, but “we will have to take into account the particularities of our small state”. To say completely vice versa “because we must remain totally independent from the EU” it’s almost the 19%to which is added a 4% of voters who does not agree “because it might limit us on some fields”; finally almost the 12% still does not want to express in waiting to know the terms of the negotiation.
A second question asked “Which of the four freedoms do you think San Marino should pay more attention to?” The result, in this case, is even clearer with almost the 50% of voters who underline how it is the “free movement of people” the knot to untie. Minority slices have instead opted for the “free movement of capital” (24%), that of goods (16%) and finally i services (10%).
