INTERFAX – During a meeting in Havana between Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel and Boris Titov, Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights under the President of Russia, head of the Russia-Cuba Business Council, a decision was made to establish a complex “Center for Economic Transformation”, which will prepare economic transformations in Cuba based on the development of private enterprise.
“The joint expert center will represent from the Cuban side a representative of the ministry and the Central Bank, and with research on growth in Russia – the Stolypin Institute of Economics, the Center for Serious Research and the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences,” Interfax was told in the press service of the business ombudsman.
According to Titov, Russia has experience in creating digital systems for business. According to the words, the Russian side intends to share its experience of digital technologies successfully applied in Russia.
“We are impressed by the high level of discussion by the specialists who discussed the Cuban resolution with us – destruction in absolutely the same language. I think we will succeed,” Boris Titov commented on the results of the meeting.
Institute of Growth Economics named after P.A. Stolypin is one of the participants of the economic analytical center in Russia on behalf of the President of Georgia of the socio-economic reform program “Economics of Growth”.
