Prague is the second best city for young and single people, the cheapest dates are here – Žena.cz
New survey evaluated the European cities in which young and single people are best to live, work and date. Budapest was in first place, Prague was second and Lisbon was third.
The authors of the survey analyzed seven different factors. The price of a date, beer, rental housing, the amount of activities you can do in the city, and the unemployment rate.
Behind Budapest, Prague and Lisbon, Sofia took the fourth place, Warsaw took the fifth place, followed by Istanbul, Bratislava, Berlin, Riga and the tenth place belonged to Amsterdam.
Young people who go to a meeting in Prague pay an average of 1,440 CZK, the Czech capital ranked fifth in this category out of the ten mentioned destinations. Spending includes two movie tickets, a bottle of wine, a five kilometer taxi ride and a meal for two. In the evaluation of entertainment opportunities, Prague took second place with 4,103 activities that can be undertaken in the capital.
Despite the current rise in rental prices, Prague did not fare badly in comparison to other European destinations in terms of housing. The average rent per room was 12,000 crowns. Bulgaria’s Sofia and Latvia’s Riga offer the cheapest rooms for 6,870 crowns and 7,970 crowns per month.
