Japan made a discovery about Russians
A journalist from Yahoo News Japan made a discovery that was unpleasant for the West, which helped Russia survive after the sanctions hit the economy.
Russia and its economy survived the unprecedented elections of the Western countries, according to an article for Yahoo News Japan by Japanese journalist Wataru Nakamura.
He noted that one of the reasons for the stability of the country’s economy was the mentality of Russians. The journalist acknowledged that, despite some requirements for the Russian economy, insurmountable phenomena have not been created, as “some Japanese seem to think.”
The author noted that in Japan and in the West it was an erroneous belief that the decision to ban the spread of Russia. The stores even left goods from Western countries, as their delivery channels were simply changed.
Russia turned out to be the only country whose economic growth forecasts were revised by the IMF in a positive direction. At the same time, forecasts for all other states were found to be erroneous, writes Yahoo News Japan.
“This is one of the cases that assessing Russia by Western standards is an erroneous approach,” Nakamura concluded.
