Towards a dark day in public transport ? The strike of January 19, 2023 against pension reform promises to be quite popular within of the network Tip. Most tram and bus lines will be disrupted.
Metro and buses will be disrupted by the strike
“A strike notice has been filed by the unions CGT of Transdev Rouen and Unsa TNI for this day, ”announces the Tip network in a press release on Monday. On the side of the CGT, we are delighted that “all the unions had filed a notice. It is believed that the movement should be very well followed“.
The communication from the public transport provider already warns of the lines that will be affected by the strike:
- metro lines,
- the four lines of Teor,
- fast lines F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7 and F8,
- line buses 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 20, 22, 26, 27, 28, 33, 35, 36, 37, 38, 41, 42, 43, 44, 529, 530 and Noctambus,
- school lines Rouen, Seine-Austreberthe, North plateau, East plateau, Darnétal, Canteleu and Vallée du Cailly sectors.
The usual require traffic on these different lines will not be known until Wednesday, eve of the strike.
The Tip network specifies that the lines “F9, A, B, C, E, F, G, Allobus, the school lines 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, the Cars Hangard lines and the Filo services” r and Calypso are not affected by this strike”.
Against the pension reform
Unions go on strike in response to a nationwide call against the pension reform which provides, in particular, ratio of legal age to 64.
This day should be highly mobilizing. In addition to transport, many sectors must also go on strike, especially in schools. Disruptions in school services should soon be detailed.
