Next week, especially Wednesday and Thursday, the upper level flow could move north-northwest favoring the incursion of even colder air. And bringing snow? The latest discounts from Meteo France delivered in the Nord and Pas-de-Calais from Tuesday 17, then Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 January.
On the side of Weather – Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Christopher Grolewski confirms this trend: “The weather remains very disturbed overall with humidity and wind. However, temperatures will drop and return below normal for the season. Therefore, the rain could turn to snow in the region and especially from the first heights. Nothing is confirmed yet, but the trend is moving according to expectations in this direction”.
On the side of The Weather Channel, Cyrille Duchesne also believes that it is not excluded that certain regions of the northern plain are most likely to be temporarily affected by snowfall. But “at this time, it is not possible to be precise about the location and timing of these snowfalls. The air mass must also be sufficiently cold, because it is maritime polar air which will have softened on its way”.
