Ukraine and the Netherlands agreed on the exchange of experience between artists
The Minister of Culture and Information Policy, Oleksandr Tkachenko, is holding a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine, Jennes de Mol, and the coordinator of construction issues for Ukraine with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Robert Quarles van Ufford.
During the meeting, the parties discussed support for cultural organizations and artists. Tkachenko’s introduction to this Telegramsreports Ukrinform.
“Colleagues came with good news about increased financial support from DutchCulture to our artists and cultural organizations. In addition, they are determined to support and organize study visits for the exchange of experience and professional development for our artists,” he wrote Tkachenko.
The parties also discussed the needs of Ukrainian cultural institutions for the winter and their reconstruction in the affected and de-occupied regions, about strengthening cultural cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands – cultural exchanges, exhibitions, exhibitions, cooperation between our institutions, grants, book publishing.
As reported by Ukrinform, according to the results of a survey by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, 73% of respondents believe that the development of Ukrainian culture hinders stable financial support from the state.
Russian armed aggression has been ongoing in Ukraine since February 24.
