ils lancent une lampe d’appoint qui reprend les bénéfices de la luminothérapie
The two friends from Bordeaux created Arits, a company of alternative lighting to light therapy. Their first product is called Artieta, a Basque-sounding name reminiscent of the origins of Paul Trement. It is an auxiliary lamp that reproduces each second of the sun’s cycle, from its lever to its sunset, passing through the zenith. It has two buttons to adjust the warmth of the white and the light intensity. The on-board artificial intelligence records the user’s preferences over the days to then generate a “light profile” adapted to their needs.
Not very restrictive
Unlike conventional light therapy lamps which require particular rigor since you have to be exposed to them for thirty minutes every day, Artieta is used like any auxiliary light. To design this product, the two creators explain that they have read numerous clinical studies to understand the biological rhythm and the secretions of hormones such as melatonin (sleep) and cortisol (stress). Ultimately, the two Bordelais hope to raise the necessary funds to submit their product to clinical studies. “We would like to equip medical establishments but for that, we need scientific data. »
