How is Slovakia doing with self-production of green energy? – euractiv.sk
The EURACTIV Slovakia portal invites you to an online event called From households to companies: How is Slovakia doing with self-production of green energy? which will take place December 16, 2022 in the time since from 10:00 to 11:30 via the Zoom platform. The event partner is SPP.
ABOUT THE EVENT
As a result of skyrocketing gas and electricity prices and their own energy security, there is great interest among companies in their own energy sources. The European Commission also wants a decentralized energy system, which sees active consumers and local resources as one of the solutions to the climate and energy crisis. Slovakia is trying to jump on this trend by changing the legislation for local resources or energy communities and promises to extend subsidies for self-production of green energy from households to companies.
- What are the trends and barriers to the support of decentralized energy sources in Slovakia?
- How to fairly set green energy subsidies for companies so that households and communities are not deprived of energy?
