Between November 4 and 26, 2022, the Budapest Police Headquarters conducted nine traffic inspections on the capital’s extremely busy roads. The main goal of the action was to filter out speeders.

made by traffipax about those who did not observe the permitted speed limit on the given road section. Violators can expect an administrative fine.
During the inspections, five drivers were arrested, three of whom were driving under the influence of alcohol and two were under the influence of a ban, two drivers were produced for sampling, and in three cases, reports were filed for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Six people received administrative fines: three drove through the red light, one driver ignored the no-entering sign, one the mandatory direction of travel, and one did not use the seat belt.
Violation reports were used in six cases, three times for unlicensed conversion and one time for driving and driving without a license document due to its absence, higher than prescribed noise emissions, and irregularly tinted windows.
