Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Yury Ambrazevich during a meeting on Friday with UN Secretary General António Guterres said that the republic is ready to allow the transit of Ukrainian exports through its share for exports from Lithuanian ports, said Stefan Dujarric, spokesman for the Secretary General.
At the same time, in his course, the representative of Belarus assured that Minsk was ready to take such a step without preconditions.
“Today the Secretary General accepted the appointment of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Yury Ambrazevich.
At the same time, he added, Ambrazevichil Minsk’s requests for exports are under the sanctions of Belarusian fertilizers.
In turn, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus confirmed to RIA Novosti that during the meeting at the UN the topic of transit of Ukrainian applications through Belarus was discussed.
“I can confirm that this topic, together with others, was also really discussed at the meeting,” said Anatoly Glaz, spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
