First senior goal and contract extension with Leao’s agent: who is Milan and Nigerian starlet Eletu
Milan starlet Victor Eletu scored his first senior goal on Thursday, a day after he extended his contract with the Rossoneri through his agent Ted Dimvula, who is also the representative of Raphael Leao.
Eletu, 17, signed his first professional contract with the Diavoli earlier this week. On Wednesday, his representative Dimvula posted photos of a meeting with Paolo Maldini and grinding wheely Massara as his client put pen to paper on a new contract with the Serie A champions.
“Congratulations to young Nigerian midfielder Victor Ehuwa ELETU on signing his first professional contract with AC Milan,” Dimvula wrote on Instagram.
“They will finally understand… God made it! Thanks to his uncle @allelecelestine and his family for the trust.
Eletu is a central midfielder born in Lagos, Nigeria on April 1, 2005. He joined the Rossoneri academy a year ago from Cedratese, one of the Rossoneri’s feeder clubs, based in the province of Varese, region of Lombardy.
The Nigerian starlet scored his first but senior yesterday, helping the Rossoneri to a 3-2 victory over Lumezzane in their first friendly during the World Cup break.
The 17-year-old is yet to make his senior debut in competitive play but has already registered 32 appearances for the Primavera side, including 12 this season.
He had scored two goals for Milan’s U17 side in 2021-22 and was promoted to the Primavera side in the summer.
His new contract at San Siro expires in June 2025. Milan hope to be able to finalize another deal soon with their representative Dimvula, persuading Raphael Leao will extend his stay at the club beyond June 2024.
