Eintracht Frankfurt won the last game of the year. The test at Atalanta Bergamo does not produce a winner in regular time (2-2). In the penalty shoot-out, however, Diant Ramaj held the victory for the Hessians. As usual, Rafael Borré sunk the decisive penalty.
Ademola Lookman (15th minute) and Rasmus Höjlund (50th) had previously scored for the Italians. Lucas Alario scored both goals for Eintracht (43′, 48′) and was then named player of the match.
It continues on January 3rd
The Eintracht pros can now look forward to around three and a half weeks of vacation. Coach Oliver Glasner has released the team over the Christmas holidays and New Year’s Eve. January 3rd is the start of training in the new year.
Just one day later, on January 4th, it’s up to the Hessians to the training camp in Dubai. In ten days in the desert emirate, the eagle carriers want to get in the mood for the start of the remaining round with two friendlies. The first Bundesliga game will take place on January 21 against Schalke.
