In Annecy, the price of real estate is at its highest!
An ever-sustained demand, an influx of new residents and a lack of new housing production: the cocktail is explosive. The properties offered for sale are far too insufficient to satisfy all potential buyers. As a result, prices continue to soar, at the same rate as after the first confinement!
Despite already very high price levels, the city continues to seduce and even more insolent it is the already most highly rated neighborhoods that are experiencing the highest price increases. According to the notaries of the Pays de Savoie, the beautiful apartments in the city center or in the Albigny district, on the edge of the lake, see their prices soar by 15 to 20%! In these two districts, the average price per square meter has now reached €6,068 and €6,690.
To find cheaper, buyers must look further north, away from the lake. On the side of Fins (4,982 €/m²), Fier (4,867 €/m²), as well as to the West towards Cran (5,674 €/m²) or on the side of Vovray (5,424 €/ m²) m²). Smaller budgets have no choice but to leave the city walls. In the immediate inner suburbs, they will find slightly more “affordable” properties near Seynod (€4,775/m²), Cran-Gevrier (€4,360/m²) and Meythet (€4,408/m²).
