Emmaüs shops urgently need blankets in Toulouse
The Emmaüs thrift stores in Toulouse are calling on everyone to generously collect warm clothes and blankets for people living on the streets.
For several years, the Emmaüs thrift stores in Toulouse have been collecting blankets and warm clothes for people living on the street. “For the past few days, with the return of the cold, we have been short of blankets, sleeping bags, warm jackets and we are appealing to everyone’s generosity. We are also looking for backpacks for these people who need to store their belongings. Since the winter of 1954 and Abbé Pierre’s call, things haven’t changed much, there are still people in great precariousness on the street”, testifies Neige, manager of the six Emmaüs AGIR thrift stores in Toulouse.
