You can rely on youth at TV Senden-Ay
They started at the Austrian Open and the Mozart Cup Wheel gymnasts from TV Senden-Ay almost exclusively with junior staff. For most of them it was the first competition on the international stage.
In the youth age group, which only started in the freestyle straight, Femi Su Dworatschek showed a successful premiere with an excellent tenth place, but the competition was also successful for her club mates, who competed internationally for the first time. Hannah Singer took 15th place, Juliana Winkler and Lara Ulrich 20th place and Jolina Dworatschek 23rd place. Daniel Bias, a male gymnast for the TV broadcast in Salzburg, competed in the juniors in the state class. He refined his international debut with a second place in the freestyle and victory in the vault. Katharina Zachmann won the bronze medal in the seniors.
At the Austrian Open in the national class, gymnasts from six nations took part. Maxima Negele and Pia Menz had their first appearances in international competitions at the youth level, so the nervousness was correspondingly high. Despite a few wobbles and falls, Maxima Negele finished seventh and Pia Menz 13th. In the juniors, after the freestyle jump, the freestyle spiral and the freestyle straight line, Vanessa Dechant took eighth place, Jasmin Fischer tenth and Katharina Hofmann twelfth.
First place for Lea Gmeiner from TV Senden-Ay
For world champion Lea Gmeiner it was the last competition in the juniors. With the highest daily scores in all three disciplines and first place, they once again underlined their exceptional position. In the team ranking, the juniors from TV Senden-Ay took first place and the youth gymnasts fifth.
