Now it’s the turn of the common people, was the Labor Party’s slogan before the election in 2021, which ended with the party regaining power.
Recent figures from Statistics Norway (SSB) show a somewhat different picture, namely that most people have received worse advice, NTB reports:
The background for the fall in real income is the sharp rise in prices this autumn.
Despite the fact that most people have been given worse advice, “AS Norge” is running fast. Overall for Norway, gross national income (GNI) rose 12.8 per cent from the 2nd to the 3rd quarter. GNI for Norway from the 2nd to the 3rd quarter is estimated at a record high NOK 1,605 billion.
For some reason, the website entitled “Now it’s the ordinary people’s turn” has disappeared from the Labor Party website.
In several places in the country, the Salvation Army has recently distributed much more food to households than before. It has apparently become the turn of ordinary people to go there to get food.
