New karaoke mode coming to Apple Music
American technology giant Apple has announced Apple Music Sing, a karaoke experience built right into the company’s Apple Music app.
According to American technology news site The Verge, Apple Music Sing allows users to monitor live lyrics on Apple Music and adjust the volume of the song so you can hear your singing voice better.
In addition, there are a few features that make it easier to sing with others.
According to Apple, the background vocals can be heard separately from the main vocals, and a duet view is available if the user wants to sing with a companion.
Apple has over 50 “custom playlists” that contain karaoke-ready songs for you to choose from.
“Apple Music’s lyrics experience continues to be one of the most popular features of our service.” Oliver SchusserApple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats said in a press release, reports The Verge.
He added, according to the outlet: “We already know that our Users around the world love to follow their favorite songs, so we wanted to further develop this offering to enable even more engagement with music through singing. It’s really a lot of fun, our customers are going to love it.”
Later this month, Apple Music Sing will be available to users. It works on “all compatible” iPhones and iPads, but the latest Apple TV 4K, released just this year, is required if you want to use it on Apple TV, according to The Verge.
