Great War, the book dedicated to the Italian army presented in Vienna – Chronicle
TRENT. Yesterday, Wednesday 7 December, the volume «The Italian Army in the First World War», curated by the War Museum for the types of Verlag Militaria, which is based in Vienna. The double volume – explains a note from Rovereto War Museum – describes, in over 350 files, uniforms, helmets, headgear and hats in use in the Royal Army between 1909 and 1919, recounting the transformations that took place in the soldier’s equipment before and during the First World War.
The authors participated in the presentation, organized in collaboration with the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Francis Frizzera And David Zendrithe Italian ambassador in Vienna Stephen Beltramothe director of the Heeresgeschichtliches museum in Vienna and the deputy head of the Austrian state archives-Kriegsarchiv.
