As of January 1, 2023, Klaus Riener will assume responsibility for the sales force in addition to his responsibility for broker sales.
Under his overall leadership, Klaus Kurz, previously Regional Director for Upper Austria and Salzburg, is in charge of broker sales.
Regional units remain
In the new list, “nothing will change in terms of the main contact persons for our brokerage partners,” Riener notes.
“The regional units will remain in place,” says Riener. “There is still a head of broker service in each region, and the teams of broker advisors and colleagues in the office will continue to be there for the broker partners’ applications in the future.”
Kurz wants to “continue to strengthen the good relationships that we as Zurich have in the market” and in the coming weeks and months have “many personal talks with our broker partners” across Austria.
