Keanu Derungs’ time in Geneva has already come to an end. The former U20 national player will leave Servette after just a few months. According to Blick information, the two parties have terminated the contract.
The talented striker signed a two-year contract with Lake Geneva this season. Before that, he spent three years with the Victoria Royals (101 games, 33 goals) in the North American junior league WHL.
This season, the 20-year-old wore the jersey of “Grenat” 16 times and scored one goal. His tenure is unlikely to have lived up to his expectations. Six times he was not used at all. And the former Kloten junior was only allowed to run more than five minutes four times.

That’s why he was loaned to Olten for ten days in November (4 games, 0 points). After his return he was no longer on the ice with Servette.
Now he could get the chance with promoted Kloten to continue his development in a team that is less well manned in attack.
