The Salón Ocasión in Barcelona sells 800 cars and generates a turnover of more than 19 million
The electric vehicle has represented 3% of the offer
BARCELONA, December 6. (EUROPEAN PRESS) –
The 40 Salón Ocasión closed on Sunday at Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue after selling 800 cars and generating a turnover of more than 19 million, taking into account an average price per unit of 24,000 euros.
In the show, held from November 26 to December 4, the cars that have had the most are B and C classes (utility cars up to 4 meters with 3 or 5 doors) and sedans, SUVs, minivans, and SUVs of up to minus 4.5 meters, reports Fecavem this Tuesday in a statement.
As for engines, hybrids have been “very well received” by buyers, along with gasoline, all of them with a C or Eco label that allows unrestricted circulation in low emission zones (ZBE).
On the other hand, electric vehicles are “still quite residual in the market” and have only represented 3% of the offer present in the event.
The president of the show and of Fecavem, Jaume Roura, is satisfied “taking into account the difficulties that the market currently presents” with inflation.
In addition to the 800 cars sold, “many operations have begun that will take place at dealerships” in the coming days.
11,000 VISITORS
The show is organized by the Motor Association and the Catalan Automotive Distribution Association (Fecavem) together with Fira Barcelona, and has received more than 11,000 visitors in its 9 days.
The 41st edition of the event is scheduled for autumn 2023, also at the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc venue.
