of the Political Party “SOCIETY FOR A NEW BULGARIA”

REGARDING: Proposal to initiate a procedure to remove President Rumen Radev from the post of President of the Republic of Bulgaria

Bulgaria is last in terms of economic indicators and standard of living in the EU as a result of almost 12 years of corruption by the GERB party and coalitions, as well as the last administration of a caretaker government. The election of Rumen Radev six years ago as the President of the Republic of Bulgaria was mainly due to the desire of the Bulgarians to stop the vicious authoritarian practice in governance and the change towards legality and justice, freedom of speech and legal order. Expectations were lied to even with the first presidential term, in which Radev comfortably stood in the position of Borisov’s personal but not in the system. Corruption and lawlessness remain invisible to the presidency, as do the huge unprofitable projects that make us dependent on Russia. The schemes of Gazprom with the gas pipeline to Serbia and the monopoly position of the gas supplier, as well as the positioning of Lukoil and the oil supplies from Litasco only and exclusively of Russian oil are never commented by Dondukov 2. Even on the contrary, the president always acted in the direction of Russian interests. directly affecting Bulgarians and positioning us in the EU. The entire time of Bulgaria’s entry into Schengen was used to trap the gullible in the political fringes, so that they would be convenient for me to support for a second term. Logically, it came to a situation where Bulgaria is facing a refusal to be accepted into Schengen! The president is directly responsible for the political crisis of the last two years. The political stratification and almost division in society leads to four parliamentary elections and a year of caretaker government, tantamount to timelessness and going with the flow. There is a lack of any reforms in the judicial system, investigations and convictions for corruption, despite numerous reports to the prosecutor’s office and publications by independent investigative journalists! Despite the call “Get out!”, discredited and corrupt persons from the GERB era were returned to key management positions. For nine months now, Ukraine has been subjected to a military invasion and is heroically resisting the aggressor Russia. The EU and NATO provide all assistance, including weapons, to the attacked country. The president took a pro-Russian position and isolated Bulgaria from the common efforts of Europe in resolving the military conflict and expelling the occupiers. What claims do we have for our place among civilized European countries with the Kremlin’s “Trojan horse” position?

In view of everything armed, we propose to the National Assembly to start a procedure for the resignation of Rumen Radev as President of the Republic of Bulgaria!
