Prague has extended the term of office of the TSK and DPP supervisory boards, a new coalition is expected
In addition to Scheinherr, the councilors also extended the current terms of office in the DPP supervisory board for another deputy mayor, Pavlo Vyhnánek (Praha Sobá), Tomáš Mikesko (STAN) and transport specialist Jan Markov. In addition, Filip Vácha (TOP 09) was elected to the vacant position on the council. The DPP Supervisory Board has 15 members, ten of whom elect the city council and the other five elect employees among themselves.
The situation is similar in TSK, where the terms of Scheinherr and Marin Kal, nominated by Praha Soba, Pavlo Dobeš (STAN) and Pavlo Richter (TOP 09), expired already on November 28. Everyone will remain on the board except for Richter, who will be replaced by Martin Jedlička for TOP 09. The TSK Council has nine members and all members are elected by city councillors.
On Monday, councilors decided on the basis of an agreement that the serving coalition of Pirates, Prahy Sobě and the no longer existing joint club TOP 09 and STAN negotiated with ODS and ANO. The move is intended to guarantee the continuation of the continuity of supervisory bodies of city companies until the parties agree on a new coalition. This is not happening yet, the winning group Spolu (ODS, TOP 09, KDU-ČSL) would like a coalition with the Pirates and STAN on the government plan, but since the elections, they have not been able to reach an agreement with the Pirates, who over time created the Stability Alliance with Praha Sobě and insist on her participation in the coalition.

At the same time, based on the councilors’ June decision in connection with the Dozimeter corruption case, the DPP announced auditions for all positions of directors, including the general director. In the Dosimeter case, according to the police, several accused, including some members of the DPP leadership, organized corruption related to public contracts. The company has already extended the deadline for the delivery of applications for director selections twice, the current deadline is December 22. In the meantime, the company has already selected a new economic director, who became Jiří Pařízek.
DPP is the city’s largest company, which employs about 11,000 people and is in charge of public transport operations. TSK mainly takes care of the maintenance and repairs of roads in the metropolis.
