Near Toulouse: the restaurant employee robs the manager and steals €25,000 in revenue
A 25-year-old man, employed in a restaurant in Colomiers, took advantage of the absence of his manager to rob his home on Friday. He and his sidekick were arrested.
The burglars were very well informed. On Friday, while she was away from her home to provide lunch service, a restaurateur from Colomiers suffered a break-in at her home. Upon returning home, the victim found that her thieves had filed away at her establishment’s receipt which she kept in her office. This recipe for several days amounted to €25,000.
She contacted the police who noticed the burglary and launched their investigation. Two suspects were quickly identified. Two 25-year-old men who live with a roommate in Colomiers.
The police officers of the BAC Rive gauche went to arrest these two burglars among whom they designated an employee of the restaurant managed by the victim. In his cell phone, investigators found a video of him committing the burglary.
Almost 3 kg of cannabis
A search took place at the home of these two men. It turned out to be successful since they kept nearly three kilos of cannabis resin, 11.5 grams of cocaine and two bulletproof vests… On the other hand, no trace of the €25,000 stolen during the burglary.
The duo was placed in police custody in the hands of police officers on duty from the departmental security before being presented to the prosecution. Already described known to justice, these men were to be judged within the framework of immediate comparisons.
