More than 48 clandestine police stations detected. Organization says there are three in Portugal
The human rights organization Safeguard Defenders revealed today that there are at least 48 more clandestine Chinese police stations in various countries, bringing the total number already known to 102 delegations of Chinese authority in foreign territory.
In a report released today, an organization states that these squadrons are present in 53 countries around the world, almost half of which (at least 41) in Europe, with Italy and Spain adding the largest number of these delegations of the Chinese authority in foreign territory. .
The existence of these “police service centers” was revealed in September, when Safeguard Defenders accused Beijing of maintaining 54 police stations in several countries – including three in Portugal (Lisbon, Porto and Madeira) with functions that go through the control of fugitives from the China and return processes to the country.
