Ligue 1. Ben Lambrecht appointed general manager of AS Monaco
Movement on the Rock. The former executive director of Cercle Bruges, Ben Lambrecht, 58, has been appointed general manager of AS Monaco in place of Jean-Emmanuel de Witt, the Principality club announced on Monday.
Executive director since March 2021 of Cercle Bruges, a Belgian D1 club and subsidiary of AS Monaco, Ben Lambrecht had until then worked in collaboration with the club of the Principality. “on the implementation of a global strategy aimed at modernizing the existing structure and strengthening the synergies between the two entities”indicates the Monegasque press release.

Former executive of KPMG, Delacre and Coca-Cola (between 1993 and 2020), graduate of INSEAD Business School, Ben Lambrecht therefore succeeds Jean-Emmanuel de Witt, appointed on May 24 but whose profile was too distant specificities of football, according to the entourage of the Monegasque club.
