Idelux supports VSEs and self-employed in the province of Luxembourg: here is a comment
Given the energy crisis and its impact on the economic world, the IDELUX Group has decided to set up aid to support VSEs and the self-employed.
In parallel with the various federal or regional measures, with the efforts made by the Walloon banks and financial tools (SRIW, Sowalfin, Sogepa), and alongside the support for companies provided by the services of IDELUX and the CCILB in the energy theme, the Intercommunale has decided to grant aid of up to €15,000 for the self-employed and VSEs in the province of Luxembourg affected by the energy crisis.
Credit at the rate of 0% and simplified access for VSEs and the self-employed
In concrete terms, thanks to a fund made available by the 44 municipalities and the Province of Luxembourg, IDELUX has set up a financing mechanism aimed at facilitating the transition to less energy-consuming equipment and/or to renewable energy sources. This simplified mechanism consists of the granting, to any TPE or any authorized self-employed person, of a subordinated loan of €15,000 maximum excluding VAT at the rate of 0% for an overall duration of 24 months, including a 6-month franchise capital repayment.
This necessary aid should be used to implement projects aimed at reducing the energy bill specific to economic activity in the long term, such as insulation work or work to increase the energy performance of buildings, the acquisition or installation of a device that produces renewable energy or the purchase of replacement equipment to improve energy performance.
The measures are available from December 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023 and until the available envelope, i.e. €500,000, is exhausted. Requests for aid could be sent from Thursday, December 1, 2022. All information and web forms are available on the website www.investinluxembourg.be.
In this particularly difficult context, IDELUX wishes more than ever to be alongside companies, the engine of economic development in the province of Luxembourg.
