Covid in San Marino, from 28 November to 4 December 235 new cases of infection. 201 healings
New update of the Social Security Institute on the progress of the Covid-19 epidemic and of the Vaccination campaign
In the inclusive period between 28 November and 04 December 2022the Social Security Institute of the Republic of San Marino has registered 235 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infectionafter 1,266 swabs performed (weekly positivity rate at 18.56%). I was there in the same week 201 healings and the average number of hospitalized is equal to 2.
The weekly incidence rate out of 100 thousand inhabitants, sale therefore a 685.76 (previous week was 634.11).
Overall, the total number of people infected from the beginning of the pandemic until midnight yesterday is 22,406 of which: 256 active positives (131 females and 125 males, with an average total age of 53), 119 deaths and 22,031 recoveries.
As of today they are 5 people hospitalized and positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virusall in isolation rooms and none in intensive care.
The total swabs performed are 184,775, of which 35,259 on single people.

Anti-COVID vaccination campaign
The total number of vaccinations registered in San Marino since the beginning of the Campaign is 72,362 of which 24,339 people vaccinated with the first dose and 26,694 with the second dose or with the single dose.
82.09% of the resident vaccinable population aged 5 years or more has completed the primary immunization cycle.
There are 21,329 people who have received the booster dose, equal to 70.40% of the resident population that can be vaccinated aged 12 or over.
We remind you that it is possible to book the second booster dose (second booster) with the new anti-Covid vaccine (Comirnaty Original / Omicron BA. 4-5 produced by Pfizer / BioNTech). To book, it is recommended to use the online service, accessible from the home page of the ISS website (www.iss.sm), or contact the CUP by calling 0549 994889 from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 18:00. And that during the anti-Covid vaccination it is possible to receive the flu vaccination at the same time.
Finally, it should be remembered that to access any structure of the Institute for Social Security, such as hospitals, pharmacies, health centres, clinics, and all offices from located throughout San Marino, it is necessary to wear an FFP2 mask and respect the distance and frequent washing or sanitizing of hands.
